Hey all. I am not sure how to handle this but i have a multi-registration setup for a charity run. It doesn’t make sense to ask for a pets email or t-shirt size so is there a way i can remove it? Here is a link to my page : http://tailstothetrails.com/register-as-participant/?regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

Hey Adam,

Right so you have the pet set up as an attendee, so it will always ask for the name and email unless you do not ask for additional attendee data (in which case you wont get the names/emails for any additional attendees (other adults/kids, etc).

You could also add it as a ticket type, so Adult, Adult and Dog, Kid, Kid and Dog.

Another option would be to try the pre release add on Price Modifier, and set up the dog (and maybe the t-short if it costs) as a question that will modify the ticket price by $x

You can find out more about the pre release channel here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/

And more about the Price Modifier plugin here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-price-modifier/

The plugin is still in Beta, so please be aware of that and that it might not work in all situations.

I am trying the price modifier approach but for some reason the modified price shows up as a discount on the checkout page ‘-$-20.00’. It doesn’t actually discount the price since its trying to subtract the negative amount. Anyway to disable this?

Hi Adam,

It sounds like you have a negative amount in the question setup for the price modifier. Can you screenshot the question setup for that particular modifier?

Hi Adam,

I am not able to recreate this issue. I have my question set up exactly like yours and have added it to the Personal Information group.

Do you have negatives in your custom question?
