I have an event page that is displaying author and date, a la WP blog post. How do I remove this.
I see the CSS that you’ve provided, but I don’t know where I should insert it. I am using the Divi theme.
Also, the event page is showing as a blog post, with all of the tags and categories associated with my blog. Obviously that has to go too. How do I make that happen.
Event Espresso uses your sites theme to output the details, as single events are custom post types a single event uses your themes single.php template (or whatever else the theme is setup to use by default) for the details.
This means the single event output will look like a post and also the CSS from the thread your linked to will be unique to that site as it will be for that theme.
If you can link us to an event we can provide some custom CSS for your event and we recommend using either the My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder plugins to add custom styles such as these.

The simplest method is to hide it using CSS, the other option is to create your own template to display the EE events but requires some knowledge of PHP and your themes template files.
