The Events page has “Archives” at the top. This is confusing to customers and serves no purpose. I can’t figure out how to remove it. I want to add an image there instead. I was led to believe the pro version could do this. How do I do this? I am a small business owner and am doing this myself, so my website design skills are limited.
Can I ask what it is that led you to believe EE could alter that output for an image?
It sounds like your theme is adding a ‘Archive’ title within it’s archive.php template file.
The event list is an archive of EE event posts, if your theme output ‘Archives’ at the top of the archive template it will also display that on the EE event list.
Can you link me to the page so I can view what happens please?
This has been solved for me offline by Lorenzo. However, this is why I thought I could add a banner at the top of the events page if I upgraded to premium: “Display Status Banner [No] Selecting “Yes” will inject an Event Status banner with the title whenever Events are displaying on the single event page.”
“Display Status Banner [No] Selecting “Yes” will inject an Event Status banner with the title whenever Events are displaying on the single event page.”
Thank you for letting me know, that option is to include there status bars – http://take.ms/vWkFT
It allows you to enabled/disable those within the event list.
I’m sorry for the confusion. Do you have any suggestions on how we can better describe the status banner feature so we can avoid any future confusion?
