Remove Address from Registration

I see many requests about removing the address group from the registration but haven’t found an answer yet. I currently am using EE4 and I see that it’s possible to remove this but for some reason it the fields are locked in the registration form and I’m not able to remove the questions. It states that “The question is a system question and can not be trashed.” Is there a way to unlock address information from the registration form in EE4?

Hi,

This is the type of question that’s covered in the documentation. What you do is go in to edit the event, and uncheck the box next to “Address Information”. Here’s a screenshot of the box that has that checkbox:
