WordPress version 5.3.2. EE3. Had to deactivate EE to make website work. Been using for awhile and has become a mess. Started a new website and when adding EE plugin, got the same mess instead of starting over. Would like to install new EE without anything saved from past use.

Hi,

The simple approach to this would be to deactivate EE3, then delete the plugin. Then download Event Espresso 4 from your account page. Then install and activate EE4. Immediately after activating EE4 it will ask you if you want to migrate your data from EE3, then you’ll select No. This way you’ll start fresh with the newest version of Event Espresso without anything saved from past use.

It didn’t ask if I wanted to migrate data so installed old stuff.

With EE4 activated, you go to Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset/Delete. On that page you will find a button that will delete all Event Espresso data when clicked.
