Event Espresso – 3.1.34.1.P

I need to make it where the first attendee is not the actual student, but just the person registering the student. I know families with multiple children can simply add children 2 and more as attendees, but how do I create the first attendee to be the child and the person paying show up as the person doing the registration? I created a question for “student #1” but it really looks more confusing for the customer than it’s worth if there is another way around it.

Hi,

You could have it so that it is just a custom question or two in the registration process.

Add a note to the form that the main details for for the child (perhaps even change the First Name/Last Name questions to read Child First name etc). and then add some questions like Parents name.

If I understand what you’re suggesting I think I’ve already done that. What I was hoping for was for the purchaser NOT to be the attendee if there was a way to do that. So far I can only “add” the 1st student’s name as a secondary question.

Well, the purchaser can be different to the attendee, they just add in the attendees details instead of their own.

It is not currently possible to have the purchasers details entered into the system, unless they are an attendee or you use a custom question group for the Primary Attendee to capture the purchasers details.
