Registrations Not Showing – No Way to Refund Customer

Hello! Im not sure if my other post went through, but we have had to move our event due to the speaker being ill, and it looks like there are some registrations that are not showing up with the rest of them. Even when I search the registration ID (which looks completely different than any of the other ones).

I just need to be able to locate these registrations so that I am able to refund them.

Hi There. We had to move our date of the event due to an illness and there were a few of our attendees that registered on the site but I never saw them. The registration number looks odd (87-18-1-69fa) when it usually has all numbers.

I just need to find a way to see if these registrations were actually charged and how I would be able to refund them.

Also I would like to know how to prevent this in the future as many people were upset that we didnt notify them.

Hi,

Usually refunds are handled within your payment gateway account. For example if you use Stripe, you log into your Stripe dashboard to issue a refund.

With regards to not seeing all of the registrations, did you also check in Event Espresso > Transactions > Abandoned Transactions? If they completed the registration form did not complete the registration steps the registration will be listed there.
