registrations not being saved

Since upgrading to latest version of Event Espresso, system is not taking registrations. User enters info, types recaptcha text, submits, and gets: “Sorry, there was a security error and your registration was not saved.”
Using EE version 3.1.30.7p, WordPress 3.5.1

Hi,

This is generally a caching issue. Have you got a cache plugin on your site? If so can you set it to not cache Event Espresso pages?

I would also clear your browser cache as well.

There are no cache plugins in place and all test browsers have cleared cache, but the registration problem remains. Any other suggestions?

Hi,

Normally that shouls resolve it, but ok, next step. YOu have template files in your wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory. Can you rename that directory to force the plugin to use the defaults and see if that resolves the issue.

If not, please advise as we will need login details to look into it in more depth, but please try the rename first.
