Hi there,

I have a website in which I have EE4 with Mailchimp. I have checked the API key, checked that there is enough room for more subscriber in Mailchimp, checked that the registrations have been assigned a list, etc.

For some reason, Mailchimp is not getting any new registrations from the website.

Can you please assist?

Hi Ian,

MailChimp has a logging option for API calls. Any errors appearing there?

What happens if you send through a registration using your email?

Also, are you using double-optin where you need to click a link in an email to complete the signup?

Hi Lorenzo,

How am I to access these logging settings & information?

I am using the double opt-in, but am not getting an email from Mailchimp when I register through Event Espresso.

The MailChimp API log is within your MailChimp account, in the same section as the API keys themsevles.

Log into your MailChimp account, alight your name in the top right and select Account.

Then on that page go to ‘Extras -> API Keys’, at the bottom of the page is a log of your API calls.

If you go to Event Espresso -> MailChimp.

What do you have the setting ‘Submit to MailChimp when …’ set to currently?

Hi there,

I am not finding any new API calls within Mailchimp when I register on Event Espresso.

I have tested the connection with both the ‘Submit when registration is completed with an approved status’ and ‘Submit when registration is completed (payment status does not matter)’, neither of which are working.

Hi Ian,

Could you try these changes?

1) Deactivate and remove MailChimp for Event Espresso 4 through WP-admin –> Plugins. Then download a new copy and upload and activate through your WordPress plugins page.

2) Create a new MailChimp API key and then copy and paste that into MailChimp and save changes.

Then try another registration through the front end of the site.
