Registrations not appearing in EE4 but transaction comes from PayPal

We have had 3 instances now on one of our registration forms where people have successfully checked out via PayPal but nothing shows in either registrations or transactions in EE4. We’ve used EE4 for 5 other events using copies of this form and not had this issue, so I’m not sure if the problem is with the form or something that has just recently started.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

The first thing to do is contact your web host and ask them if it’s possible to exclude the registration-checkout page from the cache.

Then, can you check in Event Espresso > Messages to see if any emails were sent for those registrations?

Ok, the hosting company was able to do this, so we will see if it works. But this means every time I create a new reg page I have to contact them and have them exclude the url which is not very efficient. Any way this can be turned into a feature request?

No, that’s not what you or they need to do. They can set an exclusion for the registration-checkout page, which is the page that handles the cart, the registration form step, and the payment options step for all of the events on your site. Then, they could optionally set a cache exclusion for /events/, but that’s probably not necessary.
