Hi, I have been using EE for 6 years on my client’s site. I am using version Version 4.10.10. Now I am having problems with classes listed as ‘sold out’. After I cleared the “abandoned” registrations, I still see it listed as ‘sold out’. I then went back in and noticed there were several ‘reserved’ spots. I am pretty sure that the number of tickets have not been within the last hour. Where can I go and set this so it doesn’t happen again? For the interim, I went in and “Maintenance -Reset Data – . I can see my client going in and clearing the “abandoned” orders (which puts the class spots back in), but this is sort of ridiculous. Thanks, |

Hi Gina, When did you start running into the above?
Just to clarify, how are you clearing these out?
The reservation system use WP_CRON to track registrations and clear spots so if reservations are always sitting in Reserve it may means there’s an issue with WPCRON on the site. Go to Tools -> Site Health Wait around 1 minute for the tests to complete, do you see any errors about scheduled tasks, loop back requests or similar?
That’s not impossible, or even unlikely if bots have started scraping your site. Do you have reCaptcha enabled on the ticket selector? Nothing has been changed with how the reservation system works in a long time now (in fact, it hasn’t needed any modifications since it was included in EE) so I don’t think this is from something we’ve changed in 4.10.10
Sorry, but which time function are you referring to here? |
