Registration won't get beyond the first page

Something has happened and I am not sure why but users can no longer complete the registration process. They enter their initial details and click continue registration, it just brings them to the registration page with all the available events. Does anyone know how we can fix this?

See: https://www.ontargetsite.com/class-registration/?ee=1447

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The first thing to check for is a plugin conflict. You can rule out a plugin conflict by temporarily deactivating all other plugins. If the registration form works correctly with all other plugins deactivated, you re-activate the other plugins one by one until you find the one that’s affecting the form.

Thanks, I’ll try this and report back.

Okay. I had removed all plugins except the event espresso ones and it still did the same thing.

Hi Kevin,

There are 4 shortcodes that help with registration in Event Espresso. If one of them was deleted from a page or if there are duplicates, then you could see strange registration issues.

Could you go to your WP dashboard and then go to Event Espresso –> General Settings?

You’ll see some settings for the pages along with the shortcodes that should be on each page.

The most important one is:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS]

Could you search your WordPress pages through the pages overview screen to confirm that shortcode still exists and is in use once on your site?

You already have an [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] short code on the page that you linked to, or there wouldn’t be a reg form to begin with right?

In this case, it may help to create a new WordPress page, then you put the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] short code in the new page, then you change the EE3 Main Registration page setting to point to the new page, then save.

That did it Josh. Thank you!
