Registration time stamp seems to be US CST regardless of the Local Time set

Hello,

Under General Settings we’ve set Time and Date Settings to Sydney, Australia. However, when we look at the Event Overview -> View Attendees the “Registered” date and time is set to what appears USA CST. For example I registered as a test at 10:44am 2 Feb 2013 in Sydney Australia and the “Registered” Date and time stamp is “1 February, 2013 5:44 pm”.

Is there somewhere else Event Expresso is pulling the dat and time from?

The other challenge is that it’s taking 4-5 hours for Event Espresso to send Confirmation emails.

Some Screen Shots:

This screen dump shows the time difference. Under attendee name I’ve entered the Sydney, AU time as the surname. Then under registered you can see what appears to be the US CST time.

This screen dump confirms our general settings are set to Sydney, Australia:

FYI, these two screen shots show the WordPress Plugins we have installed:

Any ideas?
Cheers
Derek

Hi Derek,

Have you got your WordPress timezone set to Sydney? Settings > General.

Hi Dean, I just checked the WordPress General Settings, yes it’s set to Sydney, Australia.
Any other suggestions?
Cheers

Hey Derek,

And there was me hoping it would be an easy fix.

The only other option I can think of is for you to speak with the hosting provider. Sometimes (and excuse me as im not an expert on servers) the server time can affect things.

So, I think if you find out what the server time is and see if it matches the timezone thats coming up, and if so see if the host can change it for your site.

Please keep me in the loop with what they say.
