After someone registers for an event, is there a way to suppress the registration so they cannot register for it again? FYI – we are using a combination of a few shortcodes, should that make a difference.

Hi,

One solution that works well was shared in this other topic:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/unique-emails-upon-registration/

It’s basically a tiny plugin that can be added to a site, then when it’s active it does a quick check to see if the submitted email address has already been registered for the event.

As as aside, I took a look at your site to see what kind of events are open for registration and it looks like it’s hosted on WPEngine, which has a unique caching system. You’ll likely need to contact WPEngine support and ask them to set up cache exclusions for the events and registration-checkout pages. You’ll find more information here;
