We are running into an issue where the registrations get to the Paypal checkout and it fails with the following error… This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.
Upon refresh it looks like it does work and when I look at PayPal I see the money has been deposited.
Any idea what might be causing the “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again” error?
I have replied to your support token request for this as I can’t currently log in, please follow up there and we can investigate this.

Generally, this means there is a fatal error being thrown where no response is received on the Ajax request, so EE doesn’t have any error details to show you. However, that would usually store an error in the logs and whilst I can’t log into the admin, the FTP credentials allowed me to view the error_log… and nothing is there.
I’ll do some digging into this once I can log in.
