Hi, is there a way to have registration payments send directly to the event creator/contributor for each event? The payment is linked to the event.

2 more questions.

How can I allow new users Espresso master admin role to create event and allow them to view only their own event without seeing others in “My Events”? I did it in “User Permission” page, however I need admin to keep this function, i realize my “Event Overview” tab is disappear after i granted Event admin to this role. So, should i configure in permission page?

“My event” is always showing “No Records Found!” although I’m the event creator. I tried to deactivate all my plugins and turned my theme to twenty eleven, but it does not help me to figure it out.

Currently Event Espresso only supports one payment gateway account per payment gateway option. So sending payments directly to each event manager isn’t currently possible.

The Master admin role will have access to all events/ attendees. The Espresso Event Manager role has access to their events/attendees (this role is added with the Roles and Permissions pro add-on currently in beta.

If your events are not showing up as an admin, go to the user roles tab and check on the espresso_”“_”” capabilities.

Third question – I have checked [espresso_group_admin] capability in Administrator role, but i could not view my events in “My Events” tab still. This is the only role that started from espresso* in my list.

The My Events tab serves a different purpose. It’s part of the WP user integration and it lists events that have been registered for. See the documentation for the WP user integration for more info: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/members-integration-addon/

Thanks, I’m clear now.

A side question, when I click set as feature image, it goes into saving, and is stuck as that forever. According to the suggestion, I’d add define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); to wp-config.php to improve my memory, it does not help. I see no server error. Can you advice? Thanks.

Which version of Event Espresso?

I’d suggest installing a memory gauge plugin so you have a better idea of how much memory is available. Raising the memory limit defined in wp-config.php does not always work, as some hosts have this disabled. Check with your host to see if they can raise the memory limit.

Dear Josh, I’m using Version 3.1.24.1.P. I could set featured image in Firefox, this happened in Chrome only. I do not think it’s memory issue now. I could not search the mentioned memory gauge plugin.

This was what host replied, it is too general to no where:
“Chrome is a very light version of web browser with less features, hence it is normally faster compared to other web browsers. However, it may not be able to support some scripts for the same reason.”

I think Paul Irish would take issue with that reply. It might be a JavaScript conflict where Firefox is more fault tolerant with this. Try switching to another theme and/or deactivating other plugins. Also, check the Chrome web inspector on the event editor screen and look for JavaScript errors, they might point to the error right away.

Hi Josh, I have switched to Twenty Eleven and deactivated all plugins, but it does not work 🙁 I don’t get your way to look for JavaScript error.

You can check for JavaScript errors by navigating to the developer menu in Chrome. See screenshot:

Also, check that you have the latest version of WordPress as well. I’ve tested the featured image uploader on my test sites using Chrome, so this is probably something unique to your installation.

I have deactivated all plugins again. I still received above errors and set featured image stuck saving. Do not know what these are!

Try switching to another theme temporarily. The theme test drive plugin will let you test another theme ( I recommend twentyeleven) and site visitors will still see the active theme.
