Hi,
We would like to offer an access to our registration partners. This would allow them to only access to event espresso and to check in the information of their registrants and even modify that if necessary. This way, all the data goes to the same place instead of using other platforms.
We have set up the user roles and right now, we created one role that allow them to access to events and not the others wordpress pages. That’s good, however, we want to limit that to only some events as we don’t want them to have access to our full database.
We see that inside each event there is the “content permission/ Limit access to this post’s content to users of the selected roles” which let you select a limit access depending on the role. However, we have selected that but still they are having access to the event through url/events/ and also if they log in to eventespresso they can see all registrations.
Is there a way to limit that then?

Hi there,
Basically you need to setup the role correctly as you currently don’t have the correct permissions for your requirements.
I have previously created a plugin that adds 2 roles your site, the plugin creates an ‘Events Manager’ and ‘Event Organizer’ role.
Event Manager’s can access all of EE in the same way admins can, however they can not access any other sections of the Dashboard.
Event Organizers can access only events in which they are set as the ‘Event Author’. This also limits the user to only view registrations that apply to their events and not all.

Note that the /events/ url displays all events to all users (including users that are not logged in) it was not intended to hide events from front end view based on the user.
