And I’m nervous to update EE4.9.32. Every time I update my site crashes. I have deactivated the promotions/discount plugin because it crashes my site. Previously, it was the barcode. (we went through a series of test by turning on/off plugins one at a time to find the culprit).
I like EE4 – but it seems to have more issues and i’m considering going back to EE3 or finding a new service. We’ll address the plugin crashes after the paypal issue is cleared. Thanks
Have you previously posted about the issues with crashing? We can help troubleshoot the problem but we’ll need the errors being thrown on the site to narrow down the cause.
We’ve noticed a recent increase with users reporting issues with PayPal Standard and after a little investigating it appears there’s an issue with some PayPal servers remove values from the notify url used for the IPN:
We will be investigating this further but I would recommend switching to PayPal Express (its included within EE core) it uses the same PayPal account type and it doesn’t use IPN’s so is condiered more reliable than standard.
