registration invoice received by attendee, does not exist in the system

During a recent event, I had 4 people show up who were not on my registration list. They did have a paid registration invoice. I searched the information every way I could think of; however, I could not find it. Can you do any sort of search to see if you can locate it and why it is “missing”? I have the registration codes and a copy of the invoice.

Hi there.

This is how I’d search:
– export all the data to CSV and look in the download file
– look at the trash and make sure someone didn’t get put in there accidentally
– look at the Messages Activity and search for their email addresses and see if they did in fact get messages sent to them.

I see the registration in the messages activity and the attendees received their receipt as expected. My problem is that when I download the CSV file, the registration is not there. I searched the registration code in the registration file and the transaction file and it does not appear. Where do I look to see if it was trashed?

When you input the search terms into Event Espresso -> Registrations those are passed directly to the DB (with some sanitation run first) which means if your using that to search for registrations there isn’t another query we can run to find them.

The trash for registrations is listed at the top of that table if you have any in there. You’ll see filters for the table, such as today, this month, incomplete, and trash.

Any listed in the trash filter?

It is not in the trash filter. I realize it is probably a glitch in my system; however, I felt like it was worth asking about.

So the only time I see an issue like this is if something has broken line items within the transaction and that’s usually caching or some kind of error thrown during an update.

I’m curious here, was this a single group registration? As in someone selected a Qty of 4 tickets and completed a registration, or was is multiple separate registrations? (I’m guessing the former but just checking)
