registration generated 5 email replys

someone sign up tonight for an event and I received 5 email notifications that they did. They also received 5 confirmations.
Whats up with that?

This happened the other day too. One of the other signups tonight did NOT do the multiple emails.

Hi there,

May I ask were any changes made to the site since the time it wasn’t sending multiple emails? For example any new plugins installed since then?
