Hi guys

I have a few questions:

1. If a client book several events, he has to fill-in his attendee-information for each event. Is there any possibility, that he has just to fill-in once and for the other events, the datas will be copied automaticly?

2. If a client adds an event to his cart and want to add another event, he clicks on the “go back” button and then he comes to the ARCHIVE-page. I want, that the client come back to the regular event-site: https://www.skydesign.ch/neudikids_neu/kurse/
How can I change the link of that button to this site?

3. I want to sell “Merchandise-Products” for the events. If I use Woocommerce for this products, it’s really bad, because I have two carts and that’s so confusing for the client….Is there any solution?

Thanks for your feedback
Cristina

Hi Cristina,

1. If a client book several events, he has to fill-in his attendee-information for each event. Is there any possibility, that he has just to fill-in once and for the other events, the datas will be copied automaticly?

That’s based on your question groups selection on the events, if you have question groups set for ‘Additional Registrants’ on the first event added to the cart, EE will request details for each ticket added to the cart.

When you say ‘events’ here is that separate EE events or tickets/datetimes within a single event?

2. If a client adds an event to his cart and want to add another event, he clicks on the “go back” button and then he comes to the ARCHIVE-page. I want, that the client come back to the regular event-site: https://www.skydesign.ch/neudikids_neu/kurse/

You can use a snippet like this:

https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/e51ac13a3d9fd345ad40

Change line 2 to the URL you want to send the user too and add the function to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-site-specific-plugin-wordpress-site/

3. I want to sell “Merchandise-Products” for the events. If I use Woocommerce for this products, it’s really bad, because I have two carts and that’s so confusing for the client….Is there any solution?

EE doesn’t handle ‘add-on’ items without additional tickets current, meaning you would need to create tickets on your event that are actually ‘add-on’ items.

That then ties in to the ‘additional registrants’ questions from your first question, if you need to collect details for additional registrants this option is no good.

One option that is available is to use a 3rd party add-on called the Price Modifier add-on, available here:

http://aparnascodex.com/downloads/price-modifier-for-event-espresso-4/

That add-on adds ‘values’ to questions, if the user selects the question it adds that value to the transaction. Note that once added they can’t be removed unless you restart the registration.

Will that work for you?

Hi Tony

Thanks so much for your reply.

Number 2: Snipped worked perfectly!
Number 3: I already bought that plugin (Price Modifier for Event Espresso 4) and I already use it for additional questions. But it’s not that what I meant. I want to combine EE with Woocommerce, so that people can book an event as well buy the shirt and other products for this event.

Number 1: Ok I understand. Is there any possibility to add a code for registrants who book tickets for completely different events, so that he can book e.g. 3 event-tickets and just has to add his personal-iformations once?
Now the situation is, that the registrant has to fill-in his personal data for each event.
Would be great to get your feedback soon.

Thank you
Cristina

Right now it isn’t possible to integration EE with Woo.

No, there’s not snippet that can do this.

To check I follow what you are doing, your events on their own require details for additional registrants but you want them to skip that if there are multiple events in the cart?
