Registration email sent, but no attendee listed

We had a parent register 2 children for an event and only paid for one (it seems). Two registration emails were sent, however only 1 child is appearing in the attendee list. They have 2 separate registration ID’s, but the 2nd ID (unpaid child) is not appearing any where in the system. Is there a way to retrieve her information without inputting it again?

Hi Laura,

Do you know if these registrations were made separately or as a group booking? Can you link to the event in question?

I assume you have checked the overview for the registration ID, did you also check the database?

If the attendee is not in the database then there is nothing that can be recovered, and it would need to be input again.

Hi Dean, I believe the registrations were made as a group. This is the event in question: https://www.fpcburlington.org/event-registration/?ee=84

The registration ID is not showing in the attendee list. I attempted to re-create the issue by submitting a registration form but not proceeding through payment. Even when I did that, I received the confirmation email and my info was stored in the attendee list.

Hello,

Do you know if the registrant/attendee used the back button during registration?

For example, starting a registration and proceeding to registration checkout and then back tracking and completing another registration will cause the original registration to be erased.

It’s very likely. The original registration isn’t included in the attendee list, but she still received an email confirmation (with a $0 invoice). Any hope that this can be resolved in the future? It would be extremely helpful if the registration information could be stored in the attendee list in order for us to re-issue an invoice.

Hi Laura,

We added in an alert pop up that advises people that hitting the back button may over write the details.

Until they confirm the registration by paying, clicking the Finalise Registration link or being on the thankyou page (free events) then their details are saved but not finalised and can still be modified.

I suppose the only way they could of missed the message is if they do not have JavaScript enabled on their browser.
