Registration email on Promotion code template

Where is the template used when someone registers for an Event using a promo code which then gives select people 100% off the price. We desperately need to modify the template but cannot find out where it is or WHAT it is.

Hi,

When someone registers for an event and uses a promo code at checkout that discounts 100% of the price, that will trigger the Registration Approved email. You can edit the template by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message templates and edit Registration Approved email for the Registrant context.

Well that was my assumption, too, but that email looks NOTHING like the template for Registration Approved … or any of the Custom Messages, either. Any other ideas?

There’s more than one Registration Approved Template within that group because there’s one for each context. Did you check the other contexts?

If you have the email that was received, you can check the Message Activity List table and look up the emails that were sent for that registration. The Message Activity log lists exactly which message types & contexts were used.
