I’ve searched around a lot for an answer to this, but can’t find it. Is there a way for me to set event espresso up so that when someone registers for an event (whether it’s complete or not) I get an email alert?

Hi,

The only way to achieve this, is to also send the user the registration email regardless of completion.

This can be achieved by going to the General Settings and changing the option “Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?” to Yes.

I’ve already done that. But doesn’t that send an email only to the person who registered? I want to receive alerts when someone else registers for an event I’ve created. Where would I set an email address to get alerts for everything?

Hi,

“Where would I set an email address to get alerts for everything?”

There currently isnt a way to set email alerts for every aspect of the plugin.

When the user registers and is sent the registration email, the admin is also sent an email at that point.

If you are not receiving emails, then I would firstly check that your email in the Event Espresso General Settings is correct, and that emails are being sent correctly (you can try a plugin such as Check Email http://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/).

Also check your spam folder.

Emails are dealt with by the host server and generally if emails are not being received it is due to the server settings.

If you are having email issues, we recommend trying the WP Mail SMTP plugin and if needed a thirdparty service such as Mandrill or Postmarkapp.
