I am testing my system and am seeing that every time I register someone new it changes all of the other people who have registered to that person. |

I just added Jonny Taco as a test today – as you can see from this image – it changed all the other registrations to him. |

Hi there, On your site, you are using the WP User integration add-on which is syncing the registration data to your WP User and EE contact (its a feature of the add-on rather than a bug). It’s technically not ‘updating all the other people’, your WP user account has an EE contact linked to it and when you register with that add-on (and the sync feature enabled) it updates the WP User details and the EE_Contact linked to that user to match those details. That means, any registration you made that is linked to that contact will show those new details. You can turn the sync feature off to stop that from happening however it does mean that the registrations made not using the same matching details don’t show up in the my events section. So, the first question is what do you intend to use the WP User integration for? |
|
I am not sure what that is used for and if I really need it. We use WPFusion to get the customer and ecommerce data into Hubspot. Do I need it for that? |
|
WPFusion isn’t one of our integrations so I don’t know it’s requirements for features to work. I wouldn’t expect that the WP user integration add-on would be required for the above, but it’s possible. You can disable the sync function in: Event Espresso -> Registration form -> User Integration Settings Set the ‘Always sync contact information with WP user profile?’ option to No and save. Now try another registration with unique details, does it work how you expected then? |
