The registration confirmations we receive are disappearing from the admin email inbox. These confirmation emails are VERY IMPORTANT to the set up of our event. Why would they be disappearing? I want to keep them as reference. HELP!!!!! nobta.com ee3
Hi, Event Espresso uses a native WP function called wp_mail to send out notifications to the registrant and the event admin.
It does not and cannot connect to your email inbox.
That is, Event Espresso does not have access to your email account via gmail, hotmail, yahoo, or a custom domain (e.g. yourwebsite.com).
It requests that WordPress send out notifications via wp_mail. If they are disappearing from your email inbox, then you may have accidentally archived them through your email service or moved them to a specific folder.
Lorenzo, I’m sorry but they are disappearing. They disappeared off of two different computers. In two different locations. Maybe it’s a gmail account issue. Believe me they are gone! 🙂 They did not archive manually or automatically. Is there a way to retrieve those emails from wp?
This was caused by a group by conversation / organize by conversation option in the email client.
