I am running into the same issue as this post: https://eventespresso.com/topic/question-on-registration-confirmationnotification-email/
I tried the codes posted in that thread, but am also getting duplicate emails sent. I am using EE3.

That particular issue is avoided with the Event Espresso 4 version.

I am not wanting to update to EE4 because it doesn’t yet do everything that I need it to do. Is there anyway to fix the issue in EE3?

Then no, I don’t believe there’s anyway that issue can be fixed.
