My client would like to suppress the registration confirmation email and only send the payment confirmation. I have updated the email settings to do so (see screen shot: http://bit.ly/W5U6Lz ) However, we are still seeing both the registration confirmation & the payment confirmation are being sent.
How can we stop the registration confirmation email?
I would love to know also, we already have people registered on paper and now entering them online to migrate and they are now getting emails says registered for $0.00 since we did not want to double bill. There has got to be a way to turn it off until we change back. Sounds like a short term version of your topic.
The option you selected will only delay the registration email, not stop it completely. Once the attendee is marked as complete (thus payment received) the email will fire.
We have an option for the payment confirmation emails so I will add this to our feature request list for possible future inclusion in future updates.
One thing you could do is set the Payment email to not send at all, and change the registration confirmation email so it’s worded as the Payment email. This way, only one email gets sent out.
