Hi,

When people are trying to register for our events, they are selecting the ticket that they wish to purchase and then when the registration checkout appears, its saying “nothing in your event queue” and is asking them to select one event before proceeding with registration.

This is happening from our main website where event espresso is installed as well as from our event websites where we are using embed code for espresso ticket registration selection.

Please assist!

I am experiencing the same problem but with EE4. Install Query Monitor, and see if you have a broken script. I have:

Broken Dependencies	add_new_state
 http://www.vivaci-t.ca/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/add_new_state/assets/add_new_state.js	espresso_core
single_page_checkout (missing) 4.8.36.p

Hi Nigel,

I’ve just ran a test registration on one of the events you have on the site linked to your license key and didn’t see any issues.

Does this happen on a specific event? If so can you link me to the event.

Hi Tony,

The issue appears to be happening on all events, however the issue is only happening to some people. For example, in the office here, myself and one other staff member have no issues, while the other two staff members are having this issues with all events and unable to register at all.

I have installed Query Monitor as mentioned above and have the following in the scripts section. I am not sure if this an error or not:

espresso_core
http://procurementandsupply.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/templates/global_assets/scripts/espresso_core.js jquery ee_error_js 4.8.36.p
ee_error_js
http://procurementandsupply.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/templates/global_assets/scripts/EE_Error.js espresso_core 4.8.36.p

It did come up with a broken dependencies, but not sure if this is related to event espresso:

Broken Dependencies cf7-infusionsoft-scripts
http://procurementandsupply.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-infusionsoft-add-on/cf7-infusionsoft-scripts.js jquery
wpcf7-admin (missing)
wpcf7-admin-taggenerator (missing)

The only other thing I could find relating to event espresso is:

event_espresso EE_Load_Textdomain::load_textdomain()
wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Load_Textdomain.core.php:48 wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/languages/event_espresso-en_US.mo Not Found
event_espresso EE_Load_Textdomain::load_textdomain()
wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Load_Textdomain.core.php:48 wp-content/languages/plugins/event_espresso-en_US.mo Not Found

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Non of the above should be cause this.

The issue appears to be happening on all events, however the issue is only happening to some people. For example, in the office here, myself and one other staff member have no issues, while the other two staff members are having this issues with all events and unable to register at all.

All using the same OS and Browser?

Event Espresso uses your session_id to track your registration, we’ve seen in the past some users session_id changing rapidly (sometimes on every page load, other times after a short amount of time) but its usually either a server issue that effects all visitors, or an ISP/Network issue that would generally effect everyone on that network.

Ok thanks. In the office here we are using the same OS and Browser. Works fine for one person and not the other.

For people trying to register for our events, I am not sure what OS or Browser they are using.

How would we go about fixing this session_id issue?

Hi Nigel,

Is your website hosted on a Godaddy Managed Hosting plan? If so, it’s likely the caching that’s causing the issue you’re seeing. You can fix this by following the guide here:

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your help. I have done this but we are still having issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nigel,

You might try contacting Godaddy support (it’s been suggested that their Pro level support will know what to do) and ask them to verify that caching has been disabled for your website.
