I just received an e-mail of one attendee who received 3 times the same confirmation e-mail. I was wondering if you had ever heard of this before. It is the second time that this happens to me. Also it seems that the system is not «strong». When a few persons are registering at the same time, it falls appart and some people get black screens or no info from server. Is there anything I could do about this? I have around 2000 attendees now and I will have 2000 more…

Are they getting blank screens? This may indicate that the server is running low on memory. The amount of available memory will be reduced on the server if there are many plugins active on one system, especially in the case of being on a shared server where the resources are limited. In some cases, you can raise the memory limit that WordPress has access to by changing the memory definition in the wp-config.php file:
You should check with your host on this though, they may not allow for increasing the memory limit. They may also be able to raise the limit if you ask.
