I set up Event Espresso for an event and was monitoring the registrant list as it came in. Everything was fine with the data for nearly a month until just recently. I went in to make manual payment received adjustment on one of my registrants and then found that their data had been overwritten with the data of another registrant. Then I discovered that my first 17 registrants’ information had been overwritten with the same information. Any insight into this bug? They all have different transaction IDs and I have not made any changes to the code or even the registration form. Also, aggravating is that I went in to try to manually fix the data of one of my registrants and it accepted the changes. Then when I went in to reverify the information, I found that the information had been applied to another registrant that registered after him. On the view Attendees listing, the correct name of the registrant appears. However, when you open their details, the wrong person’s information shows up. I also need my licence key reset again. I’m starting to get a bit annoyed as it’s already been reset twice and I keep getting the “You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Calendar but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.” message.

Hi Wendy, I’m sorry for the trouble. Which version of Event Espresso is installed right now? Do you have a back up of the database? We can get your license key set right now. Depending one which version is installed right now, the solution to end the license key issue will be different. Please see this post for more information about what to do next: https://eventespresso.com/topic/3-1-28-5-update-on-license-key-issues-and-fix/ I’ll reset the key right now. |

I currently have version 3.1.28.3.P installed. I don’t have a back-up of my database I didn’t install the upgrade because of the site license key issues. After manually updating that last person’s information, it has now changed the address information of ALL 38 of my registrants. However, the email information of all my delegates has now been fixed. I have not made a single change to code or php files. |

I’ve also found an Excel spreadsheet of my registrants current to December 7th and the problems were in that version. I have done no site maintenance up until today when I discovered the issues. I’m now leery of accepting any more registants and really am not relishing the idea of manually updating or re-adding 38 people. |
Hi Wendy, Event Espresso 3.1.28.3 had a bug that would overwrite the records in the events_answer table. I can export out the main attendee data from the events_attendee table (not affected by the bug) so you’ll have a better report of the attendees. Can you send temporary WordPress admin log in info via our contact form? If so, please select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form. |

Hi Wendy, Can you check those credentials and try sending again? Thanks. |
