Registrant answers to Questions not showing up in messages received by staff

I read some of your old answers they were too confusing for me to implement.
I did try to change and update the template. These questions were left over from EE3 – now using EE4.
Questions regard food choices – I see the answers when logged in to the account – but not in the emails the office or I receive.

Very simple please – I do not seem to be able to find the place to add any of the code you suggested years ago to other people.

Hi Garth – not easy for me!
Found the Message templates – added [QUESTION],[ANSWER]
Got log lists of what were allowed and not – in red om top of the page:
The following shortcodes were found in the “Main Content” field that ARE not valid: [QUESTION],[ANSWER]
Where do I enter this – and please walk me through finding the right message templates.

So this is for the email sent to YOU, the event admin, correct?

If so the registration questions should already be included on the email by default.

but not in the emails the office or I receive.

The office OR yourself? So there’s multiple emails going out?

(EE allows for a LOT of flexibility on how emails are handled, so its not a simple case of go here go there etc etc).

Can you forward me one of the emails so I can confirm what it is? Forward it to support[at]eventespresso.com and I’ll take a look.
