I do not want them to have to sift through an endless list of all of the events I am offering sitewide. Instead I want them to be able to add an event from one page, keep shopping, then add an event from another page, etc. Is this possible?
Also, some of my events have a more extensive registration form than others. I am guessing this is streamlined somehow in the registration process if a customer chooses an event with a simple form and another with a more complicate form?
Sure, the Multiple Event Registration has a Cart Widget you can put in your site’s sidebar so people can see what they have in their cart and view their cart to checkout:
If your audience registers for an event with a long registration form, and another event with a short registration form, both registration forms will be presented and need to be completed (per your required questions settings) in order to proceed to the payment step. Your attendees will also be given the option to reuse the data in one form into another form.
I went ahead and bought EE4 and it seems to work pretty well. But I do not have a place for the event cart widget. Instead I was wondering if I could put the event cart on a page and have it be a tab in my main menu. Is this possible? If so what is the shortcake to embed in the page?
Hi Cindra, the events cart widget is only available as a widget via Appearance –> Widgets at this time. You would need a page layout that has a sidebar to use it. There isn’t a shortcode to show the widget at this time.
