I do notice “Note: Changes made in your Personal Information details will be synced with your user profile.” is displayed on the registration form.

Hi Gazza,

Yes, while WP User Integration is added, if a user is logged in when they register, the user profile data will be synced with the primary attendee. This is a 2 way sync, so if they change their name for instance, it will update their profile accordingly.

I will raise a ticket to look into the bio changes though as I do not think we should be doing that.

Thx heaps Dean..

Timeline for a fix?

This is a critical problem as it’s a membership Site and Bios are displayed on the frontend…

Cheers

As a temp fix in EED_WP_Users_SPCO.module.php LINE 526..

Is it safe to comment out…

'description' => apply_filters( 'FHEE__EED_WP_Users_SPCO__process_wpuser_for_attendee__user_description_field', __( 'Registered via event registration form', 'event_espresso' ), $user, $attendee, $registration )

Hi Gazza,

Yes it is safe to comment out that line and that will prevent the update to the description.

We have a ticket currently in testing so that EE will only add that line to the description if EE automatically creates the user from the registration info, otherwise it will not add any description at all.
