Registered User Showing a Different User on the Reg. List

Hi, we are running into a strange issue where a user (let’s call them #1) registered for an event and received a registration code.
 
His name is not on the registration list but when I enter the registration code into the search bar, it is showing another person (let’s call them #2) is linked to that code.

The user who registered (#1) said the person whos name is showing up (#2) is a former intern and #1 knows #2.

The registered user (#1) received a confirmation email with the same date/time that is showing on the backend.

How would he (#1) have received a confirmation email but his name and registration don’t appear on the registration list?

It’s like they both registered at the exact same time and the user who registered (#1) got the confirmation email and she (#2) got listed in the reg list.

Any thoughts?

Hi Cory,

That’s strange, never heard of this issue before.

Is the issue happened since the beginning? Or did this happen recently after any changes were made to the site?

Hey Sam – Ok thanks. I don’t think there were any significant changes to the site and this was a “one-off” issue but wanted to see if you had any insight or if we should keep an eye out for any similar issues.

You can enable the debug log to see if there is any error in the website in the future.

Also, please make sure to keep all the plugins up to date to avoid any conflict.
