On my Event Registration, the “Register Now” button shows up in blue when I am viewing the event in Firefox, and it is virtually clear to non-existent when viewing in Internet Explorer. Any idea what is causing this, or how I can add color to the button so it shows up better in IE?

Hi,
Its an issue with the CSS and IE, we have a ticket outstanding to resolve it. In the meantime, add this CSS to your themes style.css or a plugin like My Custom CSS and it will show a colour in IE. (note not all of it is necessary but it helps with another issue on the same ticket)
