I updated to the paid version of this plugin and it, and the support, are awesome. Thank you!

I am using it to sell tickets to concerts. Right now I have about 5 concert events created. The main ticket page provides links to information about each individual concert and visitors can also purchase tickets to each concert directly from it’s informational page.

Is there a way I can create a page that would list all the current concerts (I know the main listing page does this) but would also allow customers to purchase tickets to multiple concerts directly from that page (instead of simply linking to their individual info pages)?

Right now there isn’t an easy way for customers to purchase tickets to more than one concert.

Thanks!

The Multi Event Registration add-on will add a cart type feature where tickets can be added to a shopping cart before proceeding to the payment page.

Hey Josh,

Thanks for the response. I purchased and installed the Multi Event registration model. That got me pretty close to what I want in that now customers can purchase tickets to more than one event in a single order.

I’m using this for a series of concerts for which customers can purchase tickets at various levels of pricing (such as VIP, General, Senior, Student, etc). Ideally I’d like a single page that would list all the concerts (currently there are 5) and within each, give them a choice of adding various quantities of each level. Does that make sense?

Do you know if I can modify the main registration page template to accomplish this? I’d like it to look something like this:

Event 1
VIP $125 quantity dropdown or input box
General $100 quantity dropdown or input box
Student $60 quantity dropdown or input box

Event 2
VIP $125 quantity dropdown or input box
General $100 quantity dropdown or input box
Student $60 quantity dropdown or input box

Event 3
VIP $125 quantity dropdown or input box
General $100 quantity dropdown or input box
Student $60 quantity dropdown or input box

add to cart button

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
MRM

Have you already tried the ESPRESSO_CART_LINK shortcode that allows you to add multiple event IDs to the cart?
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#add-to-cart

e.g.:
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id="1-2-3" anchor="Register for These Events"]

I hadn’t seen that, thank you!

I tried that shortcode, with the IDs of all the events I wanted to display in it, and I got really excited because when I clicked the link it generated, that resulting page looked pretty much like what I want. Unfortunately what I found out is that since all those events are technically in the cart, they have to have quantities of greater than zero in order to finish checking out.

What I’d really love is something like the form that gets generated in the cart but displays ALL events without having to have a quantity specified for each (so only events with a quantity chosen actually get purchased). Does that make sense?

Yes, unfortunately pre-filling quantities is not something that Event Espresso currently supports, unfortunately.
