This issue has come up in the past (and we’ve always kind of been able to work around it), but since it happened again with two events this past weekend, I thought I’d see what it would take to get it fixed. Basically, we are having an issue with the exported Excel file when the Regional Manager downloads it themselves. Parts of some of the columns end up shifting into other columns. Interestingly, it only seems to happen with 6-7 columns that include information about the pricing. When we download the Excel file as an admin, everything is aligned correctly, this only happens when someone with the role or regional manager does the export.

One area where it is crucial for the Regional Manager to have correct information is under the Price Option column. Notice the difference in the “Green Valley” race (attached) between the Regional Manager and Admin Exports under the “Price Option” column. This distinguishes which race (there were two options, 8K and 10 mile) that the registrant chose. So, the race director needed to know this so the person got the correct bib number (etc.) at the race.

What do you think? Here are some examples of our exports from this last week: ** Removed **

Hi Greg,

May I ask is your site running the current version of EE3, and have any customizations been made to the export.php file or even a modified copy of the espresso_export_stuff() function getting loaded from a custom functions file?

Yes, running EE 3.1.37.11.P and no modifications to any files.

Hi Greg,

I’ve spent some time looking into this and so far have been unable to reproduce, could you send me a sql dump of the database from your site so I can install it locally?

If so please do not include the file here but rather send a link we can use to download the file to support[at]eventespresso.com

Hi Greg,

Thank you for sending that. Tony followed up with an email and included a file that should fix this for your site.
