Hi there,
We use our site to give members free tickets to events. We have it set up with a customization (in an additional plugin we built) to limit the number of tickets that users can get. (I know you don’t offer support on customizations but that’s not where my question is).

Our problem is users are “purchasing” tickets and then hitting the back button and repurchasing again because they are confused. Is there a way to redirect them to a certain page after purchase instead of the confirmation page?

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

Your customization to limit tickets on a per attendee basis shouldn’t cause any issues. That is something that a few lines jQuery can handle.

Have you tried reaching out to any registrants/attendees to see why they are confused after registering?

I’m hesitant to recommend trying to redirect from the thank you page because I’m not sure if that could create any issues.

If you are able to get any feedback, then I would copy the payment_overview.php template from the core plugin folder to this location:

wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

Then add some messaging or a notice:

Your registration is now complete!
