I have workshops thru-out the US. Each city has the same number of scheduled workshops on the same days of the week and set times. I’m looking forward to implementing the recurring add-on. Having the option to manually calculate dates since there are times that weeks are skipped. The only other variable I have is the venue. Is there a way that I can add the venue by its ID # on an adjacent column next to the dates I am manually entering? You guys are on the right track identifying the need of duplicating events by only changing a few variables. In my case, I’m sure with many. the variables tend to be dates and venues.

Hi John,
Yes currently the way you would work it is to create one event at one location recur it and then another event at another location and recur it.
One idea would be to duplicate the event but unfortunately it only duplicates it as a single event with no recurrance possible.
I will add this to our task list to be reviewed for future updates.

My events do not recur in each city. I have 6 different events at each city.
I duplicate my week per city. Each event is on the same day of the week. It would be great to group a seres of events then duplicate that group with the only variable being the venue. The plugin would probably be easier to create with only that option. then by adding the option in the current recurring plugin with (I’m thinking) a drop down menu to select venues(?)
Since I have your attention, another wish list item is to allow the full price of the event to be displayed when it is being sold at at a discounted price (early bird). I count on the impact of the price comparison for spontaneous purchases. I could add it to my description but that would require a lot of hands on editing for changes,
I do like your product and have faith it will develop to an exceptional one.

I’ll add your ideas to our features request list.
We do appreciate the feedback and ideas and we do try to implement as many as we can dependant on priority and of course time.
