I am using the recurring events add-on. When trying to adjust the number of attendees that can register for an event, I select the all upcoming events radio button and hit the Update Event button. Nothing happens. The settings go back to the original settings. I can only make updates to individual events and all events.
I am using WP 3.8.1
Event Espresso 3.1.36.4
Add-ons: Recurring Events, Groupon, and Calendar
This is an installation that was recently upgraded.

Hi,
I tested this on Recurring Events Manager (REM) 1.1.8 and it worked fine – http://take.ms/nZ9EA
What version of REM are you using?

I am using 1.1.8. I just tried again with an event and the issue still occurs. The event is setup as a manual event.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the login details. I am still not seeing this.
I selected event ID 134 and change its capacity from 6 to 7 and selected the option “This and all upcoming events.” and it correctly changed the capacity for events 134, 135, and 136. I have reverted these back to 6.
Can you try this again please? If it is still not working please advise the exact process you are using including which events (by ID) that you are trying to modify.

This is occurring when selecting Event ID 138 Intermediate class and changing the number of participants from 5 to 4
It is also occurring when selecting Event ID 105 Comprehensive class and changing the number of participants from 6 to 5
This is also occurring when selecting Event ID 98 Beginning class and changing the number of participants from 6 to 5
I also tried event 134,135 and 136 and they actually DID work.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the additional information. It looks like it is a bug when the recurring events are manually set up, which is why it works for some of your events and not others as you have used both manual and automatic set ups.
I’ll raise a ticket to look into this in more depth.

Are there any updates to this issue? I need to add additional events to the recurring events that I have currently created. If there is not going to be a fix for this soon, then I will have to create new events and try and close the existing ones out.
