Hello, I am a photographer and need to find out if Event Espresso will be compatible with a creative template I found. It is here: http://themeforest.net/item/contrast/68089?ref=soland1234 This technology (is it html5?) is such a departure from what I’ve seen with WordPress sites in the past that I’m stumped. Perhaps you can take a look and see. Thanks!

Hello Jennifer, EE should have no problem with HTML 5 themes. We have had some issues with Themeforest themes in general, especially with javascript not being loaded correctly, or the p tags being formatted incorrectly. Not all Themeforest themes are like this, but it is difficult to say whether this one will have issues just from the demo. |

Thanks! I suppose I should write and ask them. 🙂 |

Okay, he says this: “If EventEspresso loads some content with AJAX into the front end, then I don’t recommend my template.” Does EventEspresso have AJAX in the front end? I have no idea what that means. |
Hi Jennifer, Event Espresso does use AJAX on the front-end for the Multi Event Registration features. |

Only for that plugin? I won’t need that one. I think this is the right template for me if that’s the case! |
I would be very cautious with a template that loads content using AJAX. I’ve seen a few of these that do not work with Event Espresso. In one case the customer purchased a theme that loaded up the content with AJAX and this had to be disabled so the registration process would work. |

Okay, so on the page that explained how to download and install EventEspresso, there was a list of template companies you guys like. MOJO Themes You list them probably not because you think all their templates will work, right? |

Hi, Generally that is the case though we do not test them with every iteration, they are just ones that many/any issues regarding. One customer recently advised on a forum post that MOJO themes don’t work well but we havent confirmed this. |
