Hi

I am getting the following error with the recurring events add on after recently updating Event Espresso as well as the Calendar and Recurring events plugin.

“Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/constrkt/public_html/wp-content/plugins/espresso-recurring/functions/re_view_functions.php on line 30”

I am unable to select Automatic or Manual dates as a result.

WordPress Version: 3.5.2
Event Espresso: Version 3.1.33.3
Event Espresso – Recurring Events: Version 1.1.7.1
Event Espresso – Calendar: Version 2.0.6.1

Any ideas what might be causing this? I recently moved the site to a new server but this error only happened after the plugin update.

Thanks

Hi,

Not seen this error before. Is this occurring on existing Recurring events or new ones or both?

Have you tried the old trick of deactivating the plugins and reactivating them?

When the site was moved did you do a full database move? Can you check to see if the events_recurrence table is there?

Hi Dean

Thanks for your prompt response.

This is only happening on existing recurring events. New ones are fine.

Have deactivated and reactivated plugins and the events_recurrence table is in the database.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Well I found your problem, the recurrence table is empty, so its looking for data from there but not finding anything so its throwing an error.

Did you say you added some new recurring events? Because it’s completely empty.

I added a test recurring event (now deleted) and the recurrence table is populating correctly, so I think it didnt transfer over correctly when you moved the site.

Thanks so much. I just did a re-import of that part of the db and it’s all working fine now. Fear I have wasted your time a bit and should have checked that.

Thanks again for the great support.
