Recurring Events Manager –  what does "Recurring Series #X" mean?

When I create a series of Datetimes using the Recurring Events Manager, each one has a green label “Recurring Series #X”, where X is a number.

Could you tell me what this number refers to? The number seems to be arbitrary, and I can’t find any documentation to explain what it means.

Hi there,

It’s there to tell you the datetimes were created as part of a recurring series and is just a recurring series ID for reference.

You may create multiple recurring series within an event and it may be useful for some use cases to know which event is from which series.
