Hello,

We purchased the EE4 Everything License and we will be needing the “recurring events manager”. I don’t have that in my list of my downloads. How can I add that?

Hi there,

Currently EE4 does not officially support recurring events so the Recurring Events Manager is not available for EE4, only EE3.

If preferred you transfer your license from EE3 to EE4 within your account page (select the account type you would like to use just above your license keys and follow the on screen instructions).

Hello Tony,

We purchased the EE4 and the website is already up and running. Will there be a disruption in all our events and settings if we transfer to EE3? Will there be support for EE3?

There is no migration path from EE4 to EE3 so yes there would be disruption, none of the EE4 data you currently see will be available within EE3.

As you already have events/registrations with EE4 I’m assuming you would rather continue using that than starting over?

EE4 doesn’t support recurring events in the same way EE3 does, but it is possible to create an event and then duplicate it multiple times to create your series, its more work than using REM but its an option for EE4.

Will there be support for EE3?

EE3 is still supported, eventually support will be phased out, but that will not happen until EE4 can handle all of the same event use cases EE3 does.

Hello Tony,

Thank you for your reply.

Our site is already getting sales already and we don’t want to move backward to EE3.

When can the EE4 recurring events be available?

Hi Charlie,

This is on our product roadmap but we do not have an estimate of when it will be released:

We don’t have a release date set for Recurring Events.

Also, with the multiple datetimes and multiple ticketsfeatures in EE4, it’s quite easy to add additional dates and tickets for a new event… without actually creating a separate event.

I’ll check out the Multiple Datetimes. Do you have a Video demo for this? We have classes with multiple times in a day and some classes have a course of 3 days. It’ll be very helpful to see video tutorials for every functions of Event Espresso.

Yes, https://eventespresso.com/wiki/quick-start/#create-event

Go to the “How to use multiple datetimes and pricing options” section.
