Recurring events in EE4? Possible revert to EE3 and save data from EE4

It seems some of the functionality we need is not available yet in EE4 (recurring events?)

We already had installed EE4, and would like to revert to EE3 so we can use the add-ons. Is there a recommended procedure to do so without losing data?

Any idea when add-ins will be compatible with EE4?

Just saw another thread with feature comparison and EE4 does have recurring events built in – we’re going to stick with it.
