I have a client who has a monthly dinner meeting. It is always scheduled for the first thursday of the month. There will be a couple of months during the year when they won’t have a dinner because of their annual conference. Is this add-on suitable for this? They’d like to see the calendar populated for the year with these dinner events – also for their board meetings which also fall on a specific weekday each month.

Hi, here is how I would create this.
Create a new event and set the schedule via the recurring events manager to repeat each Thursday for the month through the end of the year.
Then go back and remove of a couple of the instances that are not needed due to time conflicts.

From there, you could create any additional events by adding new events through the event editor.
The events calendar add-on will automatically populate from the active or upcoming events in Event Espresso.
