Hello, I am encountering a problem with the events that I am creating. I created the event using Recurring Events. The problem is, when the events are done, those events were still existed in my webpage. What I am doing to let the past events not exist in my web page is that, I am changing the status of the event from “Active” to “Inactive” MANUALLY. Is there a way to make it AUTOMATIC? so if ever the events were completed, it will AUTOMATICALLY removed or not exist in the webpage…Thanks

Hi Richard,

By default if the events registration period has come to an end the event will be marked as clsoed and will not show in the event list.

The only thing I can think that has happened is that you have a period of X days in which all the events can be registered. As such they will still be marked as open.

In the revcurring events you will see an option

“Are all events available between the registration dates above?
No (each event’s registration start and end dates will be incremented according to a formula).”

Make sure that the No is set and that you have set an appropriate registration period in the main event, and all the events will follow that pattern.

So if you have the first event set for the 30th and the registration period from the 20th to the 29th and then set that option i mentioned above, all the other events will have a 9 day registration period before them.
