Hi, I am waiting for a long time now for the recurring-events plugin. Is there a date when it will be available?
Thank you!

Hello Vole,

Sorry, but we do not have a date for when Recurring Events for EE4 will be available. We do have plans for an REM add-on, but do not know when it will be available.

You can vote for the feature here: https://trello.com/c/7E8HquIj

Hi Jonathan,
I do not see how to vote….. I will not buy eventespresso if plugin recurring events is not implemented. It is very pitty because eventespresso is nice.

Hi there,

Recurring Events are supported within Event Espresso 3.

Event Espresso 4 does not currently support recurring events as mentioned above.

You could use EE3 for recurring events until EE4 officially supports them at which point you can migrate your events over from EE3 to EE4.

Have you used EE3 previously? If you not can test drive EE3 here:

https://eventespresso.com/pricing/test-drive-event-espresso/

That allows you to test EE3 and see how it works to see if it will suit your needs.

Hi Tony,
Thank you for youre response. I have used event espresso before and it fits well to my needs. I do not need a testdrive. We are building a new website en we would like te implement EE4, only if it has recurring events. Ofcourse we can implement EE3 first and migrate later to EE4, we think that working this way is rather expensive. Dont you think?

Why is it expensive?

EE3 licenses have access to EE4 to allow you to update without an additional purchase (during your license period). We want all users to migrate over to EE4 eventually however we do understand that EE3 has its use cases currently, especially when recurring events are needed, so we provide access to both versions with EE3 licenses, this allows you to update to EE4 when it suits your needs.

If you are referring to development costs transitioning between the two versions there is little we can do to prevent that. We would love to support all of EE3’s features straight away however it simply takes time 🙂
