I am setting up a new event which will recur the first monday of each month. The first event starts on Feb 2, 2015 at 10am and ends on Feb 2, 2015 at 12pm. I would like to have a 1 year long registration window so that future events show up for the whole year in the calendar. Start registration date is set to Feb 3, 2014 and end registration date is Feb 2, 2015 (day of the event) In the recurring section, I have selected to have the registration dates calculated by formula. I have set first event date to Feb 2, 2015 and last event date to Dec 7, 2015 Event is set to repeat every month by Day of Week. When i do this, the first event is shown as Mar 3. Here is the first couple of rows of the projected occurrence table. Note that the registration end date is correct but the event start date is 1 month in advance; March not February. Event Date Event End Date Registration Start Registration End If I change the selection to repeat by Day of Month, the starting month is correct by I do not get the event repeating each monday (as I would expect). Is this a known bug in the day of month calculation? If so, is there a work around? |
Hi Ed, We have seen this issue before and added some fixes to the next version of the recurring events manager add-on. This version is currently under testing, but is considered stable and is available in the Pre-Release Channel. If you de-activate and delete the current release version, then download, install and activate the PR version of REM and retry using the same dates, are they correctly calculated?

The link you point to in your response for the Pre-Release Channel does not link to a page. Please post the URL and also the version number. Thanks |
Ah, apologies. I have fixed the link in the post, but here it is just in case: |

This appears to have fixed the issue! Thanks |
Great! Thanks for letting us know. Just to note, when REM is officially released you will need to delete the version you are using now and re-upload/install the latest release version in order for auto updates to continue working on the REM Add-on once again. There are no database changes with REM so it is safe to swap and change between the versions. |
